Collier County sheriff’s deputies arrested a 16-year-old Naples High School student on Friday after they say he brought a stun gun to campus.
Charles Nguyen, 944 22nd Ave. N., Naples, was charged with possession of a weapon on school property. A youth relations deputy assigned to Naples High School saw Nguyen leaving school property on foot after the morning bell had rung, the Sheriff’s Office reported. The deputy stopped Nguyen and asked what he was doing, according to reports. The deputy asked Nguyen for permission to search his backpack, and Nguyen consented.

According to a news release from The Department of Business and Professional Regulation, their first statewide sweep on unlicensed contractors concluded yesterday. Department investigators hit streets throughout Florida inspecting job sites and establishing road blocks to identify and stop unlicensed contractors.

Incumbent Rep.
