A 30-year-old Golden Gate Estates man who had sex with a 17-year-old girl just weeks before she turned 18 was sentenced to 366 days in a state prison. Collier Circuit Judge Elizabeth Krier also sentenced Charles Edward Turner Jr., now 31, of 105 16th St. S.E., to two years of sex-offender house arrest and 10 years of sex-offender probation — all with a daily ankle monitor he must pay for so authorities can track his whereabouts.
