Crews will set three beams on the Interstate 75 bridge at Pine Ridge Road between 9 p.m. and 5 p.m. tonight and Thursday. The work requires complete closure of Pine Ridge Road three times for about 15 minutes each time, according to a Florida Department of Transportation prepared statement.

Naples City Council wants the people to decide. That was the consensus Monday when the East Naples Bay Taxing District’s advisory committee approached council about a multi-million dredging project for the area. Rather than deciding to move forward with a dredging application, which could cost upwards of ,000, council told the board to survey the affected neighborhoods – Royal Harbor, Oyster Bay and Golden Shore – to see what the residents want.
